Andros Barrier Reef
The Andros Barrier Reef is one of the top attractions in the Bahamas. Fisherman come for the bonefishing, while snorkelers and divers love the lush underwater environment. Close to the middle of downtown Nassau are the Ardastra Gardens and Conversation Centre. These gardens boast amazing tropical foliage, winding trails and even exotic wildlife. You'll get to see and even interact with creatures like flamingos, snakes, parrots and much more. The zoo area even boasts two leopards. Admission costs $12 for adults and $6 for children.

Atlantis Paradise Island Resort
At the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort, you'll find incredible accommodations, live entertainment, a water park, casino, dining establishments, and so much more. Balcony House
In New Providence Island sits the Balcony House, an 18th century home that's the oldest wooden structure in Nassau. You'll get to see architecture and furnishings from an era that's long gone, including an amazing mahogany staircase. Guided tours through this landmark take approximately one hour and are free, although donations are encouraged. For more information, click here.
Christ Church Cathedral
This incredible place of worship was constructed in 1837 and feature beautiful stained glass, dark wood beams and majestic white towers. One popular area of this church is the Garden of Remembrance, where you'll find a variety of flowers and plaques. Architecture buffs, history lovers and theologians alike will love touring this amazing cathedral. Admission is free but donations are encouraged.

Amber Museum
As its name suggests, this museum is devoted to amber -- the largest collection of it in the world! After viewing the spectacular collection, hit the gift shop and buy some Dominican amber jewelry. The Cord House
The Cord House, also called the Casa del Cordon, is the oldest stone home in the Western Hemisphere, dating back to 1503. The son of Christopher Columbus lived here, making this a historic attraction. The house is open daily on weekdays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Admission to The Cord House is free.

Columbus Lighthouse
The Columbus Memorial Lighthouse is located in Santo Domingo and is both a tourist attraction and place of cultural interest. Legend has it that the remains of Columbus are buried here. When the lights are turned on, the illumination of a cross can be seen in the sky for miles. Admission to the lighthouse costs only about $1.25 for adults and even less for children.

Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park
This nature has features amazing wildlife, plants, flowers, trees and more for visitors to marvel at. Visitors can choose to wander through the park, or take a guided tour. You'll get to see indigenous flora, fauna and exotic wildlife found nowhere else. Ocean World
Ocean World is an incredible aquarium and park that gets you up close and personal with the creatures of the sea. There are dolphin swim programs, sea lion encounter programs, a snorkel reef aquarium, and even an incredible tiger grotto. Swimmers are separated from the tigers by glass, but can feed the animals via a hole in the wall. Tickets for a day's admission costs $55.

Greenwood Great House
The Greenwood Great House is probably the best antique museum in all of the Caribbean and houses an incredible collection of priceless pieces. The Great House is open for tours daily, between the hours of 9 am and 6 pm. Tours cost approximately $12 for adults and $6 for children under the age of 12.

Anancy Fun Park
The Anancy Fun Park in Jamaica has something for the whole family. Here you'll find go-kart racing, miniature golf, fishing, boat rides and much more. There's something for all ages to enjoy at this entertaining attraction. The park is open from morning until night. Admission to the park is free, but each ride or attraction offered here requires tickets to be purchased.

If you're interested in the local culture and history of the people of Jamaica, this museum is a definite must visit. National Gallery of Art
The National Gallery of Art in Kingston is the most treasured art collection in all of Jamaica. This museum is home to works by Jamaican artists like Edna Manley, as well as a statue of reggae music legend Bob Marley. Admission costs approximately JMD50 for adults and JMD10 for children.

Shaw Park Botanical Gardens
The Shaw Park Botanical Gardens are actually owned by the Shaw Park Hotel. Here, you'll discover lush flora and fauna with a gorgeous waterfall in the center of it all. The gardens span over 25 acres of tropical beauty, and can be viewed best on a guided tour. This is a gorgeous place to relax and marvel at the natural world. Admission costs around $10 per person.

At the Rio Camuy Cave Park, you get to ride an open air trolley through the caves. The cave park also boasts an area called Cathedral Cave where you can see Taino Indian petroglyphs. In San Juan, you'll find the Museum of the Sea or Museo del Mar. At this museum you'll get to see Spanish colonial documents, maps, naval implements, ship models and more. San Juan Cathedral
San Juan Cathedral is a masterpiece of medieval architecture and is the resting place of explorer Ponce de Leon whose body was moved here in 1913.
