Dublin Zoo
The spacious Dublin Zoo is a fun destination for the whole family. The Zoo features over 235 different animal species and a train for youngsters to ride on. You'll also find a variety of shops, play areas and dining establishments located on the grounds. Admission is 13 Euros for adults, 11 Euros for seniors, 8.50 Euros for children and free for kids under 3.

Dublin Writer's Museum
The Dublin Writer's Museum is home to James Joyce's typewriter as well as a wide variety of historic letters, books and other items. The building itself is an architectural treasure, a Georgian style mansion located on Parnell Square. Admission costs 6.50 Euros for adults, 4 Euros for senior citizens, students and children, and 18 Euros for families.

Malahide Castle
Malahide Castle is a must-see for any visitor to Dublin. This castle served as the home of the Talbot family from the years of 1185 to 1973. Along with a tour of the castle, be sure to check out the Talbot Botanical Gardens as well. Admission costs 6.50 Euros for adults, 5 Euros for students and seniors, 4 Euros for children under 12 and 18 Euros for families.

National Botanic Gardens
The National Botanic Gardens were established in 1795 by the Royal Dublin Society and span 49 acres of land close to central Dublin. Here you'll get to see more than 20,000 different types of plants, including exotic species housed in glass greenhouses. Admission to the Gardens is free, although you can take a guided tour for 2 Euros.

Dublin Castle
Dublin Castle dates back to the 13th century and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city. It's also home to the Chester Beatty Library, an incredible collection of priceless manuscripts. At the castle you'll also find a heritage center, craft shop and restaurant. Adult admission is 4.50 Euros for adults, 3.25 for students and senior citizens, and 2 Euros for children under 12.
