Biodome de Montreal
At the Biodome de Montreal, visitors get to see four different ecosystems up close: a forest, marine system, tropical rainforest and polar region. You actually get to walk through and experience each one. It's like actually being there and is complete with the right weather, plants, and animals! Admission is C$12 for adults, C$9 for senior citizens and students, C$6 for children from 5-17 and free for children under 5.

Jardin Botanique
For more natural beauty, check out the Jardin Botanique, or Botanical Gardens. This location is home to 22,000 different types of plants and flowers. No matter what season it is, the Jardin Botanique has something beautiful to see. On the grounds you'll also find an Insectarium and train that runs through the gardens and can be ridden for an affordable fee. The average cost of admission is C$12 for adults, C$9 for students and senior citizens, and C$6 for children.

Musee des Beaux-Arts
The Musee des Beaux-Arts (Museum of Fine Arts) is the most famous art museum in all of Montreal. Here, you'll see ancient artifacts and classic art from all around the world, including Canada. In addition to the massive permanent collection, you'll find various temporary exhibitions. Admission to the permanent collection is free, while admission to temporary exhibitions varies. Donations welcomed.

Oratoire St. Joseph
The Oratoire St. Joseph is a basilica that's famous for its history and architecture. It was constructed in the early 1900s in honor of St. Joseph, the patron saint of Canada. There are frequent tours for visitors at the Oratoire lasting around 90 minutes. Admission is free, but donations are welcomed.

Planetarium de Montreal
At the Planetarium de Montreal, the whole family can experience the wonder of space. The Star Theatre is one of the top attractions here, and seats almost 400 people. There's always educational activities to enjoy and special multimedia shows. Admission is C$7.75 for adults, C$6 for senior citizens and students, and C$4 for children between the ages of 6-17.

Casa Loma
Casa Loma is a curious attraction, built in the early 1900's by a castle-obsessed architect named Sir Henry Pellat. Highlights of this stunning home include the Great Hall and Conservatory. Don't miss the private suite of Lady Mary, which is incredibly luxurious compared to that of Sir Henry. Admission costs C$12 for adults, C$7.50 for seniors and teens and C$6.75 for children.

Toronto Music Garden
Along the waterfront of Toronto lies the Toronto Music Garden. This site was created by designer Julie Moir Messervy and famed cellist Yo Yo Ma and inspired by Bach's First Suite for Unaccompnaied Cello. Here, you'll discover all kinds of different events and music shows going on. You can also learn more about the garden by renting an audio guide. Admission is free

The Toronto Zoo
The Toronto Zoo spans approximately 700 acres and is classified best as a zoological garden. There are over 5,000 animals here as well as an incredible collection of flora and fauna. Check out areas such as the Gorilla Rainforest and the African Savannah to see majestic jungle animals in their natural living environments. Admission costs C$19 for adults, C$13 for senior citizens, C$11 for children between the ages of 4-12 and free for children under 4.

Hockey Hall of Fame
Hockey fans definitely shouldn't miss Toronto's Hockey Hall of Fame. Housed here are treasures like the original Stanley Cup and equipment used by legendary players like Terry Sawchuck and Newsy Lalonde. There are even interactive displays that get you into the action, and lots of interesting and historic photographs. Admission costs are C$12 for adults, C$8 for senior citizens and children and free for kids under 3.

CN Tower
The CN Tower is the most recognizable landmark in Toronto and the first thing you'll notice upon arrival. This structure stands over 1800 feet tall and can be toured via glass elevator. There are also attractions here that include an IMAX theater, flight simulator and revolving restaurant. Basic admission costs C$20 for adults, C$18 for senior citizens and C$14 for children.

Capilano Suspension Bridge and Park
This bridge was built in 1889 and still brings tourists in by the droves. You'll get to walk on a shaky suspension bridge held up by cables, overlooking the canyon floor and river below. Check out the Treetops Adventure, an area with additional bridges attached to tree trunks. Admission to the bridge and park costs C$25 for adults, C$19 for senior citizens and students, C$13 for youths and C$6.25 for children.

Museum of Anthropology
The Museum of Anthropology is home to one of the finest collections of Native American art and antiquities in the world. The Great Hall houses a stunning collection of totem poles, while the Masterpiece Gallery sports sculpture, masks and jewelry. Admission costs C$9 for adults, C$7 for senior citizens, students and children, and free for children under 6.

Science World British Columbia
The outside of Science World is a giant blinking dome. Inside, you'll discover an interactive wonderland to delight children and adults of all ages. Popular exhibits include an exploding zucchini, a life-sized camera you can walk through, and an amazing OMNIMAX theater to name just a few. Admission is C$13 for adults, C$8.50 for students, senior citizens and children, and free of charge for kids under the age of 4.

Vancouver Art Gallery
The Vancouver Art Gallery was originally built to serve as a courthouse. Today, it's home to an extensive collection of Canadian art, including works by Emily Carr and Fred Varley. In addition to the impressive permanent collection, there are a variety of ever-changing temporary exhibitions to enjoy as well. Admission costs C$15 for adults, C$10 for senior citizens, C$9 for students, and C$40 for families.

Stanley Park
Stanley Park spans over 900 acres and serves as one of the premier destinations in all of Vancouver. Here you can see incredible trees, plants and flowers, as well as lagoons, trails and the famous seawall. The park is home to wildlife, a petting zoo, a railway, restaurants, and more for visitors to enjoy. Admission for an entire day costs C$5 in the summer and C$3 in the winter.
