Biodome de Montreal
At the Biodome de Montreal, visitors get to see four different ecosystems up close: a forest, marine system, tropical rainforest and polar region. You actually get to walk through and experience each one. It's like actually being there and is complete with the right weather, plants, and animals! Jardin Botanique
For more natural beauty, check out the Jardin Botanique, or Botanical Gardens. This location is home to 22,000 different types of plants and flowers. No matter what season it is, the Jardin Botanique has something beautiful to see. On the grounds you'll also find an Insectarium and train that runs through the gardens and can be ridden for an affordable fee. Musee des Beaux-Arts
The Musee des Beaux-Arts (Museum of Fine Arts) is the most famous art museum in all of Montreal. Here, you'll see ancient artifacts and classic art from all around the world, including Canada. In addition to the massive permanent collection, you'll find various temporary exhibitions. Admission to the permanent collection is free, while admission to temporary exhibitions varies. Oratoire St. Joseph
The Oratoire St. Joseph is a basilica that's famous for its history and architecture. It was constructed in the early 1900s in honor of St. Joseph, the patron saint of Canada. There are frequent tours for visitors at the Oratoire lasting around 90 minutes. Admission is free, but donations are welcomed. For more information, click here.
Planetarium de Montreal
At the Planetarium de Montreal, the whole family can experience the wonder of space. The Star Theatre is one of the top attractions here, and seats almost 400 people. There's always educational activities to enjoy and special multimedia shows. Admission is C$7.75 for adults, C$6 for senior citizens and students, and C$4 for children between the ages of 6-17.
