This site was created by designer Julie Moir Messervy and famed cellist Yo Yo Ma and inspired by Bach's First Suite for Unaccompnaied Cello. The Toronto Zoo spans approximately 700 acres and is classified best as a zoological garden. There are over 5,000 animals here as well as an incredible collection of flora and fauna. Check out areas such as the Gorilla Rainforest and the African Savannah to see majestic jungle animals in their natural living environments. The CN Tower is the most recognizable landmark in Toronto and the first thing you'll notice upon arrival. This structure stands over 1800 feet tall and can be toured via glass elevator.
