Bass Museum of Art
The Bass Museum is one of the best in the city of Miami. Housed here are pieces of art dating from the 15th to the 20th centuries including works by Rubens and Bol. This museum was recently renovated and expanded, making it more spectacular than ever before. Admission costs $6 for adults, $4 for senior citizens and students, and free for children 6 and under.

Museum of Contemporary Art
The Museum of Contemporary Art is another popular museum in Miami and a must-see for modern art lovers. You'll get to see works from artists like Jasper Johns and Larry Rivers, as well as various special exhibitions. Past exhibitions have featured artists like Goya and Yoko Ono. Admission costs $5 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and students, and free for children 12 and under.

Biltmore Hotel
On Sundays, the Biltmore Hotel offers free tours. This hotel is steeped in mystery and legend, and is rumored to be haunted. On one of these tours, you'll get to see the inside and outside of the hotel. On Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. there are storytelling sessions for visitors which are held by the fireplace and feature a free glass of champagne. It's advised that you call ahead if you want to attend one of these sessions.

Miami Metrozoo
The Miami Metrozoo is located on 290 acres of land and is totally cageless. The wide variety of different animals are confined by clever landscaping rather than kept behind bars. At this zoo there is a petting area, great educational programs, and lots to see and do. Admission is $12 for adults and $7 for children between the ages of 3 and 12.

Spanish Monastery
The Spanish Monastery Cloisters are rumored to be part of the oldest building in the Western Hemisphere. They were brought to Miami from Spain by newspaper mogul William Randolph Hearst and are one of the most visited attractions in the city. Admission is $5 for adults, $2.50 for senior citizens and students, and $2 for children between the ages of 3 and 12.
